No, it can’t.
This President and his administration have shown that the constitution is not the copper bottomed armor plated thing it was perceived to be. It does not protect one’s rights nor freedoms, there is now no guaranteed constitutional rights, the constitution can and has been twisted, ignored, and reinterpreted as required. He has usurped the powers of congress, and they let him. Aided him and probably individuals in congress profit from it.
What he and his fellow gang members has done is to show that the constitution is now a worthless piece of paper, and with that power, might is right. This can’t be unseen, undone, or put back in its box. It’s out in the sunshine for all to see for ever.
It’s not Trump, but those behind him and those in the future who will build on this to make a new USA. Very different to what was.
My answer is based on my personal belief, and my self-educating myself in economics. Though I am no expert, and you should not rely on me for economic advice. Its just that the more I learn about the state of the nations economy, the actions taken by our president, and the resulting consequences, I believe in the words of the late Paul Harvey from his skit “Freedom to Chains” when he said the following passages.
“The United States was not the first by george good government to arise on the world stage. There have been several; Rome, Spain, Greece, and China, and all enjoyed about 150 years at its zenith. That’s just about our time in the new world. Then each, decayed away. Not one of them was ever destroyed by anyone else’s marching legions. Each rotted away morally, culturally, scientifically, economically, simultaneously.”
“20 years from today, half of the products you will be using in your everyday living, aren’t even in the dictionary yet. We’ve got it made, if we just keep on getting on…we’ve got it made. And if we don’t…we will follow those other great nation-states into the graveyard of ignominious oblivion. History promises us, only one thing for certain. We will get, exactly what we deserve!”
I’ve listened to a lot of economists. While they have different takes and expressions, all of them express the same concerns about our nation; where the issues started, what the consequences have been, and what the world is doing. Common among all of them; they offer no solution to solve the problem. Either because…
1.) There Isn’t One.
2.) The solution is incredibly difficult to enact in our current political situation.
3.) The damage to our nation is unrecoverable, even if the solution is implemented.
So, in the end…
We deserve this! We, as Americans deserve to see our country fall. We have rotted away so significantly, that lies have become unproven truth, and that actual truth and facts, are conspiracy theories. Accountability doesn’t exist. Your skin color, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, or political alignment matters more than your citizenship. The bible and the US Constitution are just props to wave around by our leaders, who haven’t read them.
To conclude, I quote the late George Carlin, who, like Paul Harvey, I believe was a prophet talking about the end of America.
“That’s what the owners of this country count on; the fact that Americans will remain willfully ignorant of the big Red White and Blue d*ck that’s being jammed up their *ssholes every single day.”
“Cause the owners of this country know the truth. Its called the American Dream, cause you have to be asleep to believe it!”
Historically, empires last, on average, around 250 years. With that in mind, Trump and the MAGA movement will be remembered as the administration that contributed to our decline. Our country is struggling financially on every level, and due to the ongoing conflicts and financial issues faced by cities and states, the U.S. is likely to splinter within the next six to eight years.
I consider myself fortunate to have spent more than half of my life during the “good old days” in the U.S. However, I have grown weary of the incessant political fighting that has characterized the last two to three decades.
It seems the fate of the U.S. is to fail and fragment, and I hope this occurs without descending into a civil war.
America voted to return this person to the highest office after 4 years of witnessing his incompetence and corruption. After 34 felony convictions. After him disclaimer what he would do if reelected. In only 5 months, he has led the most ridiculous administration and left millions of his followers financially devastated or removed from the country. He’s alienated countless allies. Other countries are forming new alliances, such as BRICS (look it up…the media won’t report it).
America, as we knew it will not survive. It doesn’t deserve to.
