Joe Biden wasn’t destroying the world and neither is Trump. Joe Biden’s presidency will, I believe, be viewed by future historians as a four-year attempted sabotage by the Republican Party to prevent him from accomplishing anything positive for the American people; which was his goal throughout his time in office.
He may have missed some good opportunities. He made some mistakes… but if it’s been said about his penultimate predecessor Obama, that he served his second term with his hands tied, one could say that Joe Biden served his term in office hog tied, gagged, encased in a metal helmet and sealed off in a concrete bunker underneath a mountain.
He and his entire family were under constant scrutiny – not just scrutiny, but they were absolutely assaulted with everything the Republicans could do to spend our tax money trying to “get Joe,”.
In the end, all the Republicans could come up with, after millions of tax dollars wasted in investigations, was a line on a form that Hunter Biden lied on. The question on the form asked if he was addicted to drugs, and he indicated that he was not.
This was a form to purchase a gun. The type of gun it was, I don’t recall. I never cared enough to delve too deep into the incident, which Republicans treated like a capital crime and Democrats just distanced themselves from. Mainly because…. and this is the part that infuriates me the most .. HUNTER BIDEN WAS NOT AN ELECTED OFFICIAL!!!!
Republicans spent all that time and money trying to ruin the Biden family and the most they came up with was a lie (which certainly wasn’t a good thing, nor was it nothing) on a form.
Biden was in no way destroying the world. His plan to create thousands of jobs across the nation by essentially recreating our federal highway system to be accommodating to electric vehicles would’ve been an awesome undertaking.
Our American infrastructure is in bad shape and desperately needs work, as was evidenced by the bridge collapse in Baltimore last year, among countless other structural failures from coast to coast.
Biden would’ve given America the chance to do our part to try to soften climate change’s blow, and provided thousands of jobs at the same time. But Trump couldn’t have that. This was too close to the election. It would’ve given Biden a likely boost in the polls.
So Donald Trump personally made call after call to Republican legislators telling them to vote “no” on the bill. A bill that would’ve helped Americans… and the Republicans voted it down because they were told to do so by their demigod.
Despite this, and despite Donald Trump dismantling every federal agency in the nation, he won’t destroy the world. He is destroying the United States of America. It makes me damn sad to see my homeland taken over and ruined by a bunch of wealthy, sociopathic, hedonistic scumbags.
But the rest of the world isn’t buying any of the crap that Trump and Musk are spraying. They will defend their lands with whatever means they have to.
We got here because millions of people in this country were misled and manipulated by their greed, their arrogance, their hatred, malcontentedness and goddamn stupidity. We’ve allowed a channel that spreads lies, propaganda and hate to become the only source of news for millions of Americans. Fox News has to go. It’s no longer a matter of free speech when it comes to taking over the nation… and look how many of Trump’s cabinet members are Fox News alumni. 19 was the last number I saw. If that isn’t telling, I don’t know what is.
Trump’s talk about annexing other country’s lands is especially troubling. It looks like he’s following his pal Putin’s plan to the t. These other countries aren’t just going to lay back and take it, as Trump always hopes his victims will do. They’re going to fight for what’s theirs, as they damn well should. However, they shouldn’t be put in the position to have to… especially by their own allies!!!
Americans won’t fight against our allies. Not enough will to make it a real fight anyway. We need to get this maniac out of the White House and into a prison jumpsuit. He and the entire Republican Party have proven without question that they will not stop until our country is a place where corporations rule without any oversight whatsoever and the people have no rights at all.
Hell no. I do not agree. I proudly do not agree!
The O’Biden years (twelve of them) were the equivalent of pushing the gas pedal to the floor and holding it there as we approach a cliff. So much moral decline. So much financial deceit and decline. More and more regulation of our lives and more reduction in our freedoms.
Trump’s plans are to restore our rights and cut off the moral decline. His efforts to turn the country around will be like stopping a car whose accelerator is welded wide open. It can be done, but it will be painful.
I held my nose when I voted for Trump in 2016. The alternate choice chilled me to the bone. And while I was mostly pleased with what he accomplished in term 1, I still did not care for the man. I didn’t trust him. I was wary.
I voted again for him in 2020 only because Biden’s 40+ years of history was replete with lies and deceptions, and frankly, incompetence. I suffered for 4 years.
I enthusiastically voted for him in 2024 because the alternative could not communicate a coherent thought. I now pray daily for Mr. Trump and thank the Lord that the American people have awakened to the damage done by the Democrat party (with help of some Republicans). And I am learning to like and trust Trump a little more each day.
