That’s an assumption made by western propaganda. My daughters and I just got back from vacation in China. We had great time. Food was delicious and cheap. We shopped and shopped. The stuff we bought was good quality and cheaper than in the US. We visited old mansion, Shanghai Disney, Chengdu Panda breeding center . Below are pictures of food we ate, things we saw. You see, this question is a TYPICAL propaganda.
According to the official data, the first half of 2024, there were in total of 14.635 million people visiting China, a 152.7% increase comparing to 2023.
However, according to foreign media, China is struggling and barely attracted any tourist, despite the 14.6 MILLION visitors.
Those 14.6 MILLION visitors don’t matter.
What matters the most is that “foreign tourists not visiting China anymore”.
And the answer should be, including but not limited to:

- because there is no freedom in China
- because China is an evil socialist regime
- because China is an evil dictatorship
- because China is not decmocratic, and evil too
- because there is no electricity in China
- because China is an evil communist regime, and it’s worth mentioning twice
- just don’t go there, or else you will be executed
- I said don’t go there, or I will kill you
- I will kill you whole family if you dare going to China
The truth is that many pro tourism youtuber visited China after the 144 hours VISA free policy covered there countries.
Most of them came to China and expected to see a cruel, backward, oppressive, and poor country.
Instead, they see a modern, friendly, advanced, clean, and quiet country. To be honest, even we were shocked when we hear them saying China being quiet, then we understood when the youtuber and vtubers went to other countries and got interrupted by noise on the street.
Many of them are on Tik Tok, and we know now why the US government wants Tik Tok to die, because neither the US government or Jewish group can control the speech there, and it’s dangerous to the democracy and freedom. People should not know what’s going on in China freely. Instead, they should only watch censored content about China, which is always evil.
This is the most common reaction when those youtuber and v-tubers visiting China for the first time. They think they were lied by the media, which is ultimately controlled by the government through different methods.
They see a gigantic metro with clean environment once walking out of the airport.
Some of them left the big cities, and went deeper into China, even to certain “sentitive” regions.
Some tried to find out if China is only good in big cities and covered all the poverty in rural areas.
Some even went for a ture advanture.
Not much of racism.
And certianly no massacre.
People are not suppressed and depressed.
Business opportunities are everywhere.
And China is quietly become a tech giant.
But don’t forget to repeat the propaganda, which is that:
Nobody goes to China anymore!
