Which wild animals show no fear of humans and are not dangerous?

I’m really late for this but there is a wild animal that is not dangerous and shows no fear to humans:

The Shoebill stork.

Here’s another picture:

These things? To some they are straight up nightmare fuel. Very solitary birds, standing a meter or more tall. Their stare is unnerving, as well as their machine gun like sounds.

They are cruel to their young—they are favorable usually to the first hatched because the first hatched is usually the strongest and most fit, so the second hatched eventually does not make it.

But they are unafraid of humans—not only that they are super friendly. No one knows why. Wild shoebills will let a human within six feet of their nest. There are many videos of shoebills “greeting” humans with a low bow and the shaking of the head. At some zoos if you return this gesture they will allow you to touch them, much like a real life hippogriff.

It is important to note that these majestic birds are critically endangered and there are less than 5000 left in the wild.

I hope this post lets the world know a little more about the living dinosaur that is the shoebill stork.

Curiously enough, the Japanese giant spider crab shows absolutely no fear of human divers.

Yep – despite their colossal size (the largest can surpass 10’ in legspan!!), Japanese giant spider crabs almost always completely ignore humans when they’re diving nearby, whereas most crabs tend to flee or throw up a defense posture.

No sudden evac, no threat posture, nothing. They just ignore the ogling humans and keep ambling on.

It’s unknown as to why spider crabs are so chill around people, but it’s possible that, at their great sizes, they don’t see us as threats? Or, more likely, at the depth that they live, they rarely (if ever) even see humans, and because there’s a rather small commercial interest, we just don’t come across as predators to them.

Regardless, despite their terrifying appearance and gigantic size, Japanese giant spider crabs are completely harmless, and they (evidently) think the same about us.

Like look at this one. No flailing around, snapping pincers or waving legs. He’s just patiently waiting until the photoop is over.

Whales are curious creatures from nature and don’t care a single bit if you are under them,

Above them,

Next to them,

On top of them.

Or high fiving them,

Just don’t let one bump into you, don’t get smacked by its tail, and watch out for killer whales because they might see you as their personal toy.

However, they do care if you are:

Hunting them,

killing them,

And eating them,
